Ahhh...I love this time of year! The weather finally begins to warm up and the local theaters are ruled by the mighty summer movies to entertain us!
This is the cover for our annual Summer Movie Preview at the Salt Lake Tribune that came out last Friday. I had an absolute blast illustrating and putting the section together!
Major kudos to anyone who can figure out what classic comic book cover I'm paying homage to. Double major kudos to anyone who can find the Green Lantern reference!

Your full page spread turned out amazing. Nicole has it hanging at her desk. I love it. The worn out look you've given to the overall piece is a very nice touch.
I couldn't find the Green Lantern reference, however, I did notice that your depiction of Indiana Jones appears to resemble you a bit. Was that a conscious or subconscious choice? Anyway, it turned out great! I also like your Munnys a lot. I don't know how you find the time to create them but they look fantastic. Simon Pegg is spot on!
Very cool blog! I loved the SL Trib page you did. Are you thinking of making a few of the munnys and selling? I would be willing to buy a few depending on price.
